Where the insurance certificate lives
Brokers ask for a certificate. The website's job is to make that request easy, not to host a PDF that went stale in March. Motus puts a safety email on your domain and a plain statement of how you send certificates. We do not file insurance, and we do not invent limits.
A request path, not a museum
The page should say who to email, what you need in the request (the holder name and the address), and how fast a person usually answers. That is a process. A public download of last quarter's certificate is how a shipper tenders a load against coverage you no longer have.
If you want a certificate posted, you accept the job of replacing it. We will not leave an expired file up because it was convenient at launch.
Limits only in your words
Auto liability, cargo, and general liability figures get printed only when you give them in writing. We do not round them. We do not copy a number from a competitor. If the figure changes, you tell us and the sentence changes.
We do not tell you how much coverage a broker should require. That is between you, your agent, and the broker. The site is not an insurance opinion.
safety@ is the mailbox
Certificate requests should not land in a personal inbox that also gets load offers and family mail. safety@ on your domain, with a person behind it, is the setup. dispatch@ can be copied when the load is live. billing@ is the wrong door for a certificate.
Connecting that mailbox is part of the transportation launch. If the mailbox provider charges a seat, we quote it first. We still do not file the BMC-91, the BMC-84, or anything else. Your insurance company and motus.dot.gov keep their jobs.
- Who answers certificate requests
- The email those requests should use
- Limits, only if you provide them
- Your agent or your process, in a sentence
- No government seal and no stale PDF
Growth ($597) fits a carrier that wants a proof section beside the equipment. Starter ($274) still gets the safety email and a clear contact path.
The package
Starter is $274, Growth is $597, and Authority is $1,197. Each price is one time. Year-1 hosting is included, then hosting is $150 a year. Company email on your domain is part of a transportation launch. A mailbox-provider seat fee and a registrar's domain fee are quoted before they start. The breakdown is on what a trucking website costs.

Questions
- Will you call my insurance agent?
- Only if you ask us to confirm a sentence you already approved. We do not shop coverage and we do not file it.
- Can the site say 'fully insured'?
- That phrase means nothing. Use the limits you are willing to state, or say that certificates are issued on request.
- Do you store certificates for brokers?
- The website is not a certificate vault. A portal that logs holders in is software, and it is scoped separately.
- Is this the same as the carrier packet?
- The packet is the whole set of documents. This page is only the insurance request. Many companies need both explained.
