An intermodal carrier website

Intermodal trucking here means the ramp: you pull a container or a trailer between a rail ramp and a door. That is not the same sentence as marine drayage, even when one company does both. Motus builds the site that names the ramps. We do not join a chassis pool for you.

Name the ramps

A scheduler searches the ramp, not the word intermodal. Say the ramps you actually work. If you serve a ramp and not the marine terminal in the same city, say that. If you do both, give them two sections. The drayage page on this site is the marine one. This page is the rail one.

Do not paste a railroad's logo and imply a preferred-vendor deal. Equipment photos and the phone are the proof. A list of every ramp in the country, copied from a map, is not a service area.

Chassis, appointments, per diem

These are the threads that fill an inbox. The site can say that you work with the chassis rules of the ramps you serve, in plain language you approve. It should not be a how-to for gaming per diem, and it should not offer port or rail credentials. Those belong to you and the facility.

dispatch@ and billing@ on your domain keep the appointment mail and the invoice mail apart. A free inbox loses the midnight notice.

One company, two buyers

Steamship lines, IMC's, and domestic box customers do not read the same page the same way. Write the one you want. Growth ($597) fits a carrier who needs the ramp list and a proof section. Starter ($274) fits one ramp and one phone.

A container-tracking login is software. We will not fake one.

Growth ($597) is the usual buy when more than one ramp needs room. One ramp can start at Starter ($274).

The package

Starter is $274, Growth is $597, and Authority is $1,197. Each price is one time. Year-1 hosting is included, then hosting is $150 a year. Company email on your domain is part of a transportation launch. A mailbox-provider seat fee and a registrar's domain fee are quoted before they start. The breakdown is on what a trucking website costs.

Questions

Is intermodal the same as drayage?
On this site, no. Drayage is the port page. Intermodal is the rail-ramp page. A carrier who does both should say both.
Do you get me a ramp agreement?
No. The site describes the work you are already allowed to sell.
Can I list a railroad as a partner?
Only with permission and only in words they would accept. We do not invent a partnership.
What about a box inventory?
Not in the website package. That is a system, scoped separately.
