Truck lettering and the website should match
The name on the door is the name a shipper types. The domain should be that name, and the website should answer. Motus builds the site and connects the email. We do not cut vinyl, and we do not tell you that a website satisfies a marking rule.
Pick the name once
Legal name or DBA, spelled the way dispatch already says it. If the truck says North Line and the site says Northline Logistics Group, brokers hesitate. Choose the public name before you letter the door and before you buy the domain. If the exact domain is taken, we show you a close, honest alternative, not a lookalike of another carrier.
The registrar's fee, if the name is not yours yet, is quoted before purchase. It is not inside the $274.
What the door still has to do
USDOT display on the power unit is a marking question for you and the official FMCSA materials. We do not publish a how-to, a font size, or a placement diagram. If your compliance person gives us a sentence for the website, we can print that sentence. The truck itself is not our shop.
We will not put a government seal on the lettering file or on the site. The number, if you display it, is text.
Photos after the truck is lettered
A lettered truck is the best photo the site can have. If the truck is still bare, launch anyway and swap the photo when the door is done. Say that the lettering is in progress rather than using a stock cab.
Owner-operators on one truck and fleets with a shared mark use the same rule. The mark on the door, the mark in the header, and the email domain agree.
- One public name
- A domain you can say on the phone
- Email on that domain
- A photo of the real door when you have it
- No vinyl job and no marking diagram from us
Starter ($274) covers the site and the email while you letter the truck. The vinyl vendor is yours.
The package
Starter is $274, Growth is $597, and Authority is $1,197. Each price is one time. Year-1 hosting is included, then hosting is $150 a year. Company email on your domain is part of a transportation launch. A mailbox-provider seat fee and a registrar's domain fee are quoted before they start. The breakdown is on what a trucking website costs.

Questions
- Do you design the door?
- We design the website. A simple wordmark from the site can be handed to your vinyl shop. We do not install lettering.
- Does the website replace USDOT numbers on the truck?
- No. Marking rules are not waived by a domain. Read the official materials or ask your compliance person. We will not guess a font size.
- What if I lease on and the door is the carrier's?
- Say that you are leased on. Do not letter the site as if the carrier's authority were your brand, and do not letter their DOT as a personal badge.
- Can the site launch before the truck is lettered?
- Yes. Use the phone and the domain. Add the photo when the door is real.
