What a broker checks before they tender
A broker checks the public record first. Then they look for a website that agrees with it. Motus builds the second part. We do not change a safety score, we do not file the authority, and we do not tell you a score is 'good.'
The record, then the site
They look up the USDOT and the MC. They look at insurance on file with the people who file insurance. None of that is a page we edit. The site is where they confirm the phone, the equipment, and that a human answers email at the company domain.
If the record says the company is new, the site should not say twenty years. If the record says one power unit, the site should not imply a terminal network. Agreement is the whole trick.
The five things the page can settle
What you run. Where you run. Who to call. Who to email for a packet. The legal name. Photos help when they are yours. A lane map helps when it is honest. A stock photo of a convoy helps nobody.
We will not add a badge that says a broker approved you. If a particular broker is a real customer and you want them named, you give us permission and the exact words.
Packets and passwords
Send the packet from safety@ or dispatch@ on your domain. Do not send it from a free inbox if you have gone to the trouble of the site. We never ask for your Motus or Login.gov password so we can 'see what the broker sees.' You can read your own record. Lookups are also on Motus Directory, which is not the government.
The package prices stay $274, $597, and $1,197. A site that tells the truth is the product. A higher price does not buy a cleaner score.
- Legal name matching the authority
- USDOT and MC in text, if yours
- Equipment you actually run
- A phone that matches the truck and the email
- A packet path that does not use a free inbox
Starter ($274) covers a new carrier whose facts fit on five pages. Growth ($597) fits a fleet with equipment and lanes to show.
The package
Starter is $274, Growth is $597, and Authority is $1,197. Each price is one time. Year-1 hosting is included, then hosting is $150 a year. Company email on your domain is part of a transportation launch. A mailbox-provider seat fee and a registrar's domain fee are quoted before they start. The breakdown is on what a trucking website costs.

Questions
- Can you improve my safety score?
- No. We do not edit FMCSA data. We will not imply that a redesign changes a score.
- Do brokers require a website?
- FMCSA does not. Many brokers ask because they want a place to check the phone and the equipment against the record.
- Should I publish my CSA numbers?
- Only if you want them public and you understand they change. We do not scrape a score and pin it on the homepage.
- Will you log in and screenshot my portal?
- No. We never ask for the Motus or Login.gov password.
