A website for a customs broker

Importers look for the port, the kind of cargo, and a broker who looks licensed because they are. Motus builds the site. We do not file entries, and we do not put a license number on the page unless it is yours.

Ports and cargo

Name the ports of entry you actually serve. Consumer goods, automotive, food, or the mix you clear. If you do not handle a category, leave it off. A forwarder who partners with a broker should not wear this page as if the license were theirs.

We will not explain how to classify a product. Classification is your work, not a blog post on a marketing site.

Documents email

docs@ or entries@ on your domain for commercial invoices and packing lists. A form that asks for the port, the mode, and whether this is a new importer. We do not build the entry software inside the website package.

Your filer code or license, if you want it public, is text you provide. We do not design a federal-looking badge.

Separate from the forwarder

Many companies forward and clear. Those are two sentences. Growth ($597) fits a broker with one port story. Authority ($1,197) when brokerage and forwarding both need a full path. We are not Customs and Border Protection.

A single-port customs broker can buy Growth ($597).

The package

Starter is $274, Growth is $597, and Authority is $1,197. Each price is one time. Year-1 hosting is included, then hosting is $150 a year. Company email on your domain is part of a transportation launch. A mailbox-provider seat fee and a registrar's domain fee are quoted before they start. The breakdown is on what a trucking website costs.

Questions

Will you file entries for my clients?
No. The site brings you the inquiry. Your license does the filing.
Can you tell me if I need a license?
No. Read the official requirements or ask your counsel. We will not guess.
Is this the freight forwarder page?
Only if you also forward. Otherwise keep the pages apart. Shippers search them separately.
Do you store importer documents on the public site?
No. The public site has a way to send them. A client portal is scoped software.
