Pleasure buyers and workboat buyers need different forms

Pleasure buyers and workboat buyers arrive with different jobs and should not share one form. The first question is vessel type, because a weekend hull and a working boat are not the same lead. Flag comes next, written only as the firm recorded it. A survey, if one exists, is requested and not graded. The page never claims the vessel is seaworthy.

Two arrivals that must not share a form

A pleasure buyer is usually asking about a hull for private use. A workboat buyer is asking about a vessel that earns its keep. Putting both on one contact form hides vessel type until a person has already opened the mail. The marine page asks vessel type first, then the role of the visitor, then the inbox that should answer. marine@ is the general desk. It is not a substitute for the two paths.

listings@ takes a vessel the firm is allowed to show. buyers@ takes a person who wants to acquire one. Mixing those addresses on a single line is how a workboat lead reads like a weekend inquiry. The copy names each address under the job it does. Motus does not sort the leads itself and does not claim either hull is seaworthy.

Flag is recorded and never filled in

Flag is the registry the firm already has on the file, spelled the way that file spells it. If the flag is unknown, the field stays empty. We do not borrow a flag from a similar vessel, from a photo of a stern, or from a guess about where the boat was built. A wrong flag is worse than a blank.

The same rule covers home port and official number. They appear when the firm supplies them and disappear from the layout when it does not. Nothing on the marine page is there to make a thin file look complete. A buyer who needs the missing flag writes buyers@ and waits. The studio does not research a registry on the firm's behalf.

A survey request is not a seaworthy stamp

If a survey exists, the page can say so in the firm's words and point to the inbox that holds it. Asking for a survey is not the same as reading one. We do not summarize findings, rank deficiencies, or tell a visitor the vessel is seaworthy. That judgment is outside a website engagement.

A buyer who wants the survey attached writes buyers@ and names the vessel type. An owner sending a new survey writes listings@. The marine desk's staff decides what may be forwarded. Motus does not store a survey as proof of condition and does not convert it into a badge on the homepage.

Authority fits a marine desk whose pleasure buyers and workboat buyers must not share a form, with marine@, listings@, and buyers@ kept as separate mail.

Motus does not sell a vessel, an aircraft, or a machine, and does not certify that one is airworthy or seaworthy.

Questions

Why does a marine desk ask vessel type before anything else?
A pleasure buyer and a workboat buyer are different leads. Vessel type sorts them before a shared form can blur the note. Flag and a survey question come after that sort. The page does not call either vessel seaworthy.
Where should a marine survey be sent on this site?
An owner sending a survey uses listings@. A buyer requesting one uses buyers@. marine@ is not a substitute for those two. Motus does not grade the survey or state that the hull is seaworthy.
Who is allowed to fill in the flag field?
Only the firm, from its own file. If the flag is unknown, the field stays empty. Motus does not borrow a registry from a photo or from a similar vessel. A buyer who needs it writes buyers@.
Can the studio decide that a workboat is seaworthy?
No. Seaworthiness is not a claim on this page. The site can show vessel type, flag, and whether a survey exists, using the firm's facts. It cannot certify the hull. That reading stays off the website.
