A domain page should not print a valuation

Printing a valuation is the sentence this site gets wrong. Motus does not set a number for a domain or for other IP, and the page must not advise anyone on a name they do not own. When the owner is already a client of the firm, the page can say how a transfer starts, where a trademark question goes, and which inbox holds the asking price the owner already chose.

How a transfer starts for a client

A transfer starts only when the owner is already a client of the firm. Say that on the first screen, then name transfers@ as the mailbox for the details the firm already asks its client to send. Do not publish steps a stranger could use to take a name. domains@ can confirm that the firm represents that owner. Buyers do not belong in that thread.

The asking price, if one is public, is a figure the owner already set. Print it as the owner's figure, or leave it off. Motus does not produce a valuation or a suggested bid. buyers@ is where a buyer writes after the owner has decided to hear offers. That order should be visible, not implied by a form that asks this studio to price the name.

Trademark questions stay out of the price box

A trademark question is not a request for a valuation. Send it along the path the firm already uses, and do not let it share a subject line with an asking price. The page can say trademark review belongs with the firm's own counsel or the firm's own process. Motus does not say a name infringes, and it does not advise a person about a name that person does not own.

domains@ is the front door for an owner who is already a client and wants the firm to look at a name. transfers@ opens only after that relationship exists. buyers@ is for a buyer the owner is willing to hear. Three addresses, three jobs. One form that promises a valuation collapses the jobs and prints the wrong sentence again.

What Motus will not say about a name

Motus will not publish a valuation and will not suggest what a buyer should pay. Motus will not advise a visitor about a name that person does not own. The public text stops at how a transfer starts for an owner who is already a client, plus the inbox for the asking price that owner already set. Past that line, the firm speaks, not this studio.

Trademark status, if the firm shows it, is a fact the firm already checked with its own process. Do not let the page say Motus cleared the mark. A buyer writing buyers@ should see the owner's asking price as the owner's number, or should see that the number arrives only after the firm replies. Leave off any estimated-value field.

Starter fits a domain and IP desk that needs transfers@, domains@, and buyers@ labeled, with the owner's asking price kept apart from any Motus valuation.

Motus does not provide the specialist service in the headline. We publish the site and connect the email.

Questions

How does a domain transfer start on this page?
It starts only if the owner is already a client of the firm. transfers@ receives the details the firm already asks for. domains@ confirms the relationship. Motus does not value the name and does not advise a person who does not own it.
Will Motus set an asking price for a domain?
No. The asking price is a figure the owner already set, or it is absent. Motus does not publish a valuation. buyers@ is for a buyer the owner is willing to hear. A trademark question stays on the firm's own path, not in a price box.
Where should an IP trademark question be sent?
It goes through the process the firm already uses, not through a valuation form. The page may name that path and may point an existing client to domains@. Motus will not say a mark is clear and will not advise on a name the visitor does not own.
What is the wrong sentence on a domain page?
A valuation. Motus does not price a domain or other IP. The page can explain how a transfer starts when the owner is already a client, and it can show an asking price the owner already set. It cannot give stolen-name advice.
