On a wholesale page the client is the retailer.
A retailer's submission packet is the object on the desk, and the insured is not the client. Say that before the form, in a sentence a hurried retailer cannot miss. retailers@ takes the submission, wholesale@ answers a partner who already works with the firm, and binders@ is not a switch that grants anything. Motus does not grant binding authority and does not bind. The page exists so a retailer is not treated like a household filing a personal loss.
Say the retailer is the client first
The first sentence under the headline should say the client is the retailer, not the insured named inside the file. A household that arrived by mistake should see a link away to a personal or commercial page and should see no wholesale form waiting for them. retailers@ is the submission door: the application, the loss information, and a note about what the retailer already tried. Do not ask the insured to create a login on this page.
Partners who already know the firm use wholesale@, and the label should say existing partner rather than start here. New retailers who dump files into wholesale@ will bury the partner mail under first-time submissions. The split is the design, not a preference. Cute department names that hide the word retailer will be misused by the next person in a hurry.
Binding authority is not a website switch
binders@, if the firm truly wants an address for those questions, should say what it is for in the firm's own words and no further. It is not a toggle that grants binding authority to the sender. Motus does not grant binding authority and does not bind a risk because a form was completed. A sentence that tells a retailer they are now authorized would be false no matter how formal the type looks.
If nobody at the firm should receive that mail from the public site, do not print binders@ as though it were a product on the shelf. An unused address teaches the wrong lesson to the next retailer who sees it. The firm confirms the address before launch day. We will not draft an authority agreement, a bulletin, or a warranty of any power to accept a risk.
Submissions stay with the retailer door
A complete submission is whatever checklist the firm will actually follow, and it should be published only when that is true on a normal week. The retailer attaches the file to retailers@. Do not build a second upload on binders@ that looks like a shortcut to authority. Shortcuts are how a file skips the person who was supposed to read the decline, the loss information, and the operations note.
An excess link helps a retailer who needs the decline path instead. A reinsurance link helps someone who is actually a cedent and does not belong in a retailer form. Say those differences in one line each, near the links. No offer of a binder, no grant of binding authority, and no promise that a market will write the risk should appear as buttons.
Authority fits a wholesale desk that must tell retailers they are the client and that binders@ grants nothing. Growth fits when retailers@ and wholesale@ are the only public split the firm needs.

Questions
- Who is the client on an insurance wholesale broker page?
- The retailer is the client, and the insured inside the file is not. Say that before the form so a household does not try to open a wholesale login. New submissions go to retailers@. Motus does not grant binding authority and does not bind from that upload.
- Does the wholesale insurance website grant binding authority to anyone?
- No. Motus does not grant binding authority and does not bind a risk because a form was filled in. binders@ is only an address if the firm truly wants those questions, and it is not a switch. We will not draft an authority agreement. An unused address should not be printed as a product.
- Where should a retailer send a wholesale insurance submission packet?
- Send the application, the loss information, and a note about what was already tried to retailers@. Existing partners use wholesale@, which is labeled for them and not as the start button. A checklist appears only when the firm really follows it. The insured is not asked to create an account.
- Can Motus bind a wholesale insurance risk a retailer uploaded?
- No. The upload is mail to the firm, and the confirmation is a receipt of that mail. Binding, if anyone does it, is the firm's act under authority the firm already holds. The page does not confer that authority and does not promise a market will write the risk. retailers@ is the door for the packet.
