A photograph does not certify the part

A certificate claim beside a photograph is the sentence an aircraft parts site gets wrong. A photo does not make a part certified. The page asks for the part number and for the trace packet the seller can actually send. trace@ receives that packet. Motus does not certify a part, and it does not treat a picture as a certificate.

A photograph is not a certificate

The sentence to remove is any line that calls a part certified because a picture of it exists. A photograph can show a data plate. It cannot stand in for the trace packet or for a certificate the seller is actually able to produce. The aircraft parts page says that in plain language near the image, so the image stops doing work it cannot do.

If no certificate is on file, the listing says so. If a certificate is on file, the firm describes the kind of document in its own words. Motus does not certify a part, does not upgrade a document, and does not tell a buyer the part is fit for installation. Fit for installation is an opinion this studio will not write.

Part number first, then the trace packet

The form asks for the part number before it asks for a story about the airplane it came from. A part number is what trace@ uses to match a packet to a line on the page. buyers@ can ask whether a number is offered. Without the number, both inboxes are guessing, and the photograph becomes the whole conversation.

Trace means the packet the seller can send, not a slogan that paperwork exists somewhere. The page tells the visitor to send that packet to trace@ and to keep parts@ for a general question about how the desk works. Motus does not assemble a trace file, does not buy one, and does not scrape another seller's inventory to fill a gap.

What Motus will not certify on a part

Motus will not certify a part, stamp a form, or imply that a certificate is valid because it was uploaded to a website. The aircraft parts desk, if it makes claims, makes them in its own name and only where it already has the right to make them. We do not explain how to obtain a certificate the seller does not have.

The public card lists the part number, the condition word the firm uses, and whether trace has been received. It does not list a price unless the firm will honor that price. Motus will not invent one. A buyer who needs the packet writes trace@. A buyer who is only asking availability writes buyers@.

Growth fits an aircraft parts desk that collects a part number and a trace packet at trace@, and that will not treat a photo as a certificate.

Motus does not sell a vessel, an aircraft, or a machine, and does not certify that one is airworthy or seaworthy.

Questions

Why is a photo not enough on an aircraft parts listing?
A photograph can show a data plate. It is not a certificate and it is not a trace packet. The page asks for the part number and tells the sender to use trace@. Motus does not certify a part.
Where should aircraft parts trace paperwork actually be sent?
trace@ receives the packet. parts@ is for a general question about the desk. buyers@ asks whether a part number is offered. Motus does not assemble the trace file or treat an upload as proof.
What does the public card show when no certificate is on file?
It says no certificate is on file. It still shows the part number and the condition word the firm uses. Pricing stays off the card until that desk agrees in writing to stand behind a number. We will not type one.
Can the studio decide a component is fit for installation?
No. Fit for installation is an opinion Motus will not write. The firm describes its own document in its own words, and only if it already has the right to say that. A buyer who needs the packet writes trace@.
