Capacity without an inspection date describes the wrong crane
A buyer who quotes capacity and a seller who sends an inspection date are two arrivals that should not be flattened into one boast. Capacity without an inspection date is how the wrong crane gets described. The page asks serial from the nameplate and sends the report to inspections@. Motus does not give lifting advice and does not invent a price.
Capacity without a date misleads the buyer
Capacity is a number from the crane's data, and it is incomplete without the inspection date the firm can stand behind. A buyer who sees only the capacity is how the wrong crane gets described. The page pairs the two facts or it withholds the boast. inspections@ is where the report goes. buyers@ is where a person asks about a crane that already has both facts public.
cranes@ receives a general question about what the desk handles. It should not be the only place a report can land. The form asks for capacity, the inspection date, and the serial, in that order, and it tells the sender which address matches which attachment. Motus does not give lifting advice about whether that capacity is enough for a pick.
Where the crane inspection report lands
The report belongs in inspections@ even when the sender also wants a salesman to see it. A copy can be a second step the firm chooses. The first landing spot is printed on the crane page so an evening upload is not trapped in cranes@ until someone notices. The date on the report is shown only if the firm confirms that date is the one buyers should read.
We do not interpret the inspection, score the crane, or say a lift is safe. Lifting advice is outside this engagement, full stop. The public text can say a report is on file with the desk. It cannot turn that sentence into a clearance. buyers@ may ask for the report. The answer is the firm's.
Serial from the nameplate, not a guess
Serial is taken from the nameplate or from the firm's sheet, including characters that look like a typo until the firm says otherwise. We do not normalize a serial to a model's usual pattern. Capacity and serial together are what stop two similar cranes from being merged into one card. If either is missing, the card says which one is missing.
A price is optional, and only after the crane desk has agreed to stand behind it. This studio will not fabricate a crane price to sit beside the capacity. The page also will not suggest a rigging method, a radius, or a load chart reading. Those are lifting subjects. The crane desk can discuss them with its own people. This studio stops at the facts and the inboxes.
Growth fits a crane desk that pairs capacity with an inspection date and sends the report to inspections@, with no lifting advice from Motus.
Motus does not sell a vessel, an aircraft, or a machine, and does not certify that one is airworthy or seaworthy.

Questions
- Why is crane capacity without an inspection date a problem?
- Because capacity alone is how the wrong crane gets described. The page pairs capacity with the inspection date or it withholds the boast. The report goes to inspections@. Motus does not give lifting advice about the pick.
- Where is a crane inspection report supposed to land first?
- In inspections@, even if a salesperson should see it later. cranes@ is the general question. buyers@ is for a crane that already shows capacity and a date. The firm confirms which date buyers should read.
- How is the serial copied from a crane nameplate?
- Character by character, including anything that looks odd, until the firm says otherwise. We do not reshape a serial to match a model's usual pattern. Capacity and serial together keep two similar cranes from becoming one card.
- Will Motus suggest a radius or a load chart reading?
- No. Radius, rigging, and a load chart are lifting subjects. Motus does not give that advice and does not invent a price to sit beside capacity. The crane desk discusses those subjects with its own people.
