An item photo is not an appraisal
When an item photo arrives after the shop closes, the hold question and the identifier get lost if they share one unlabeled pile. items@ should take the photo. jewelry@ should take the jewelry desk note. clients@ is the client. A photo is not an appraisal. Motus does not lend, does not appraise, and will not describe altering an identifier or avoiding a police hold.
An item photo is not an appraisal
The photo shows an item. It does not set a value, a loan, or a grade. Say that next to the upload, if the firm even wants an upload on the public page. items@ receives the photo and the description the client already has. Motus will not write a number under the picture and will not call that number an appraisal.
The firm, if it lends or buys, does that work itself under its own rules. The website does not quote an advance, a rate, or a buy figure. Those blanks invite a promise. Leave them off. clients@ can hear from a person the firm already knows. A new photo still starts at items@, not at a price.
A police hold is not a tip to publish
A police hold is a status the firm already follows when the firm says one applies. The page may say that a hold is respected and that items@ is where the firm accepts a photo. It will not describe altering an identifier. It will not describe avoiding a police hold. Those are not tips, and they are not services.
Do not list steps, tools, or timing that would change an identifier or shorten a hold. Do not hint at either. The honest line is a refusal: this desk page will not help a visitor change an identifier or get around a hold. jewelry@ is for a jewelry question about an item the firm already accepts, nothing else.
The identifier stays as the firm recorded it
An identifier on an item stays the identifier the firm recorded. The page can ask the client to send the mark as it appears, through items@. It cannot coach a rewrite, a removal, or a substitute mark. Motus does not lend against the item and does not appraise it. The firm decides what, if anything, happens next.
clients@ is for a client the firm already has, asking about their own item. A stranger with a photo uses items@. jewelry@ is the desk that handles jewelry the firm already takes, described in the firm's categories. Three doors, no valuation, and no sentence that treats a hold as optional.
Growth fits a pawn and jewelry desk that must separate items@ from jewelry@ and must refuse both an appraisal and any note about a hold or an identifier.
Motus does not lend against an item or appraise it. The site will not describe how to alter an identifier or avoid a police hold.

Questions
- Is a pawn item photo the same thing as an appraisal?
- No. An item photo is a file for items@, not a value. Motus does not lend and does not appraise. The firm decides what happens next under its own rules. The page will not put a number under the picture or call that number an appraisal.
- Will a jewelry page explain how to change an identifier?
- No. The page will not describe altering an identifier, and it will not describe avoiding a police hold. An identifier stays as the firm recorded it. items@ receives the photo. jewelry@ receives a jewelry question. Neither address publishes a method or a workaround.
- Where should a pawn client send a photo of an item?
- A new photo goes to items@. clients@ is for a person the firm already knows. jewelry@ is the jewelry desk. The photo is not a loan request that Motus can price. Motus does not lend, does not appraise, and does not treat a hold as optional.
- Does Motus lend on jewelry or quote a pawn figure?
- No. Motus does not lend and does not appraise. Any figure would have to come from the firm, and this page does not invent one. The public text names items@, jewelry@, and clients@, and it refuses tips about a hold or an identifier.
