A hull survey and an owner claim need different inboxes.
A surveyor carrying a condition report and an owner asking about a claim should not share one inbox. surveys@ exists so the report stays out of the sales pile. claims@ exists so the owner's loss does not wait underneath a long survey PDF. The trading area is a fact the form can ask the owner to state, not a chart this studio draws. Motus does not issue a seaworthiness certificate.
Surveyors and owners need separate doors
surveys@ receives the condition report, the date of the survey, and the surveyor's own contact line. Owners do not use that box to ask whether a claim will be paid. Owners with a loss use claims@, and owners with a question that is not yet a loss or a survey use hull@. Three jobs and three labels should be printed together, in that order, where a phone screen can show all of them.
A sales pile that also holds survey PDFs is how a condition report sits unread until a renewal is already late. Say on the page that a survey file is not a request for a price. If the firm wants particular photos with the report, the firm names those photos. Do not ask every surveyor for a video tour that nobody at the desk will watch.
Trading area is the owner's own answer
The form asks the owner to state the trading area in the words they already use with the desk, together with the vessel identity they have on their papers. Motus will not draw that area on a chart or decide whether it is acceptable. A shaded ocean in the hero is decoration, and it must not be readable as a limit or as permission to go somewhere. If the firm restricts areas, the firm writes the restriction itself.
Do not copy a trading warranty out of a contract found online and paste it here as if it applied to every vessel. That paste is how a firm publishes words it does not mean. Leave sample warranties off the page. The owner states the trading area, the desk reads it, and the website does not grade the answer or redraw the coast.
Claim notes stay clear of the survey file
claims@ asks for the date, the vessel identity, and what the owner says happened, plus photos if the firm has said it wants photos. It does not tell the owner to commission a fresh survey before the notice is even logged. If a survey is also required later, the page can say surveys@ is a second send, not a replacement for the notice. The notice comes first, and the condition report does not erase it.
Motus does not issue a seaworthiness certificate and does not grade a survey this studio did not perform. The surveyor did the survey. The desk reads the report under its own process. Cargo and aviation links are for a reader who meant a shipment or an aircraft rather than a hull, and those links should say so in a few plain words.
Growth fits a hull desk that must keep condition reports at surveys@ out of claims@ and out of the sales pile. Starter fits when hull@ is a live reader and the three labels stay explicit.

Questions
- Where should a surveyor send a hull insurance condition report?
- Send the report, the survey date, and your contact line to surveys@. That box is not for an owner asking whether a claim will be paid. Motus does not grade the survey and does not issue a seaworthiness certificate. Owners with a loss use claims@ instead of the survey door.
- How does a marine hull page ask an owner for the trading area?
- The owner states the trading area in their own words, along with the vessel identity already on their papers. The site does not shade a chart or decide that the area is acceptable. Any restriction is a sentence the firm writes, not a warranty copied from another contract. Decoration in the hero is not a limit.
- Which hull insurance address receives a claim note instead of a survey?
- claims@ gets the date, the vessel, and what the owner says happened. surveys@ gets the condition report, and that report does not replace the notice. hull@ is the question that is neither a loss nor a survey file. Motus does not certify seaworthiness on any of the three paths.
- Will Motus certify seaworthiness on a marine hull insurance page?
- No. Motus does not issue a seaworthiness certificate, and it does not grade a survey it did not perform. The surveyor surveys, and the desk reads the report under the desk's own process. The website only keeps those files from sharing one inbox with a sales note. A shaded map is not a certificate.
