Introduce the conversation. Do not claim the desk matched anyone.
A borrower looking for a conversation and a lender partner looking for a file should not share one form. The desk, if that is its work, introduces a conversation between them. It does not publish a match, and it does not hand either side a term sheet from this website. borrowers@ hears the borrower. partners@ hears the lender. loans@ is the internal desk, not a pairing button. Motus is not a lender and does not match anyone.
Borrowers and lender partners use different doors
The borrower is asking what kind of conversation is even possible. They should not see a menu of lender names, a ranking, or a button that says matched. borrowers@ collects the situation in the borrower's words. The lender partner is asking where to send a question about process. partners@ is that door. Showing both audiences one dropdown teaches them that the site itself performs the introduction, which is the claim to avoid.
loans@ is for the desk's own staff traffic that the public page still needs to name, such as a colleague forwarding a note that is neither a fresh borrower nor a partner. If that third door confuses people, label it as the desk, not as get matched. Motus will not operate loans@ as a switchboard that pairs names. The firm, if it introduces two parties, does that with its own judgment and its own records.
A term sheet is not a webpage artifact
Visitors expect the match to arrive as a term sheet. The page should say that a term sheet, if one is ever produced, is a document from a lender or from the firm, not a PDF this studio generates. Do not offer a sample term sheet with blanks that look fillable. Blanks invite people to believe the numbers are pending rather than absent. partners@ can ask how the firm wants lender questions framed. It does not emit paper.
Match language is just as loaded. Matched, paired, placed, and introduced-by-algorithm all say the website did a credit decision. The allowed sentence is smaller. The firm may make an introduction. The site explains that a human does it, and that many notes do not become introductions. Print the smaller sentence. Motus does not match a borrower to a lender, does not score either side, and does not keep a private list of who was paired.
What the general loan page refuses to automate
No rate card for the lender menu you do not publish. No approval meter for the borrower. No countdown that says a term sheet arrives in a day. No city list implying the studio has a desk in those places. The firm can name the kinds of conversations it actually has, in its own geography, without assigning Motus a branch. We do not open an office because a partner mentioned one.
Keep the two public doors visibly different in the first screen, not only after a click. A borrower should see borrowers@. A lender partner should see partners@. loans@ can sit with a quieter label for desk traffic. If a note arrives on the wrong door, the firm forwards it. The website does not auto-forward into a match. That restraint is the product the page is selling, along with the mailboxes themselves.
Authority fits a general loan desk that must show separate borrower and lender doors and still say Motus does not match anyone or issue a term sheet.
Motus is not a lender. We do not quote an APR, promise approval, or take an application.

Questions
- Why should a borrower and a lender avoid one loan form?
- Because the borrower is describing a situation and the lender partner is asking about process. One dropdown implies the site makes a match. borrowers@ and partners@ keep them apart. Motus will not run loans@ as a switchboard that pairs names.
- Does Motus match a borrower to a lender on this loan page?
- No. The firm may make an introduction with its own judgment. The site does not publish a match, score either side, or keep a list of who was paired. Many notes never become introductions, and the page should say that.
- Who sends a term sheet, the loan desk or this studio?
- Neither the website nor Motus. A term sheet, if one exists, comes from a lender or from the firm on its own paper. Do not post a sample with fillable blanks. partners@ can ask how lender questions should be framed. It does not emit the document.
- What should the loan page refuse to automate for visitors?
- A rate card, an approval meter, a countdown to a term sheet, and a city list that implies this studio has branches. The firm names the conversations it actually has. We do not open an office because a partner mentioned a city.
