Media rights are not a worldwide blank check

Claiming worldwide availability is the sentence the current site gets wrong. A rights offer has a territory, a window, and an exclusivity limit, or it is not ready to publish. Ask who at counsel@ reviews the term before a brand treats the sentence as a grant. Motus will not print an audience number the firm did not supply.

Worldwide rights is the wrong sentence

Replace a worldwide claim with the territory the firm is actually offering. If the firm cannot name the territory, the page should say the territory is confirmed in writing, not assumed. A brand that reads an open-ended sentence will repeat it. counsel@ is the address that reviews the term before that sentence stays up.

The window is a date range, not a mood. Print the window the firm already uses, or say the window is set per deal and direct the reader to rights@. Do not fill the gap with a viewership figure. Motus does not invent an audience number, and the page should not leave a blank that looks like one is coming.

Territory window and exclusivity are the ask

Exclusivity is a category question: exclusive of what, and where, and for which window. Those three words belong in the first screen, each tied to a fact the firm already knows. brands@ receives the brand that is asking. rights@ receives the holder-side note. Mixing them hides which exclusivity is even on the table.

If two territories are available and a third is not, say so. A single adjective like global hides the third. The page can list territories the firm already has authority to discuss. It cannot widen that list because a sentence sounds better when it is broader. counsel@ still reviews the term that names exclusivity.

Counsel reviews the term before anyone boasts

A boast about reach is how an unreviewed term leaks. Send the draft term to counsel@ and keep audience language out until the firm has a number it is willing to sign. If the firm has no such number, the page has no number. Motus will not estimate viewers, followers, or impressions for a rights package.

rights@ can describe the inventory of rights the firm already represents, in the firm's categories. brands@ can hear a brand ask which territory and which window are open. Neither inbox is a promise that a deal will close, and neither is a place for this studio to certify who watched.

Growth fits a media rights desk that must show territory, window, and exclusivity, and must keep counsel@ on the term rather than an invented audience.

Motus does not provide the specialist service in the headline. We publish the site and connect the email.

Questions

Which territory should a media rights page name?
Name only the territory the firm is actually offering. If that territory is not settled, say it is confirmed in writing through rights@ and reviewed at counsel@. Do not write that the rights are available worldwide. Motus does not add an audience number.
Where does a media rights exclusivity question go?
A brand asking about exclusivity writes brands@. The rights note itself goes to rights@. counsel@ reviews the term before the page treats exclusivity as settled. The window and the territory stay attached to that question so the grant is not implied.
Can Motus supply an audience number for media rights?
No. Motus does not invent an audience number. If the firm has a figure it is willing to publish, the firm supplies it and owns it. Otherwise the page talks about territory, window, and exclusivity, and it stops before any reach claim.
Who reviews the term before a rights sentence stays up?
counsel@ reviews the term. rights@ and brands@ do not replace that review. A worldwide sentence should come down until the territory, the window, and the exclusivity are the words on the page. This studio does not clear the term.
