A website for a new trucking authority
A new authority is easy to Google and hard to trust. The record shows a young company. The website is where you show the truck, the lanes, the insurance contact, and a phone that a broker can try today. Motus builds that site. We do not file the authority.
What brokers look up first
They look at the public record, then they look for a site. A blank search result, a Facebook page, or a free inbox is the whole first impression. Five pages are enough: who you are, what you run, where you run, how to tender a load, and how to call.
Put the USDOT and the MC number on the page only after they are yours. Do not decorate the site with a government logo. Link people who need the filing to motus.dot.gov, and people who need a lookup to the public record or to Motus Directory.
New authority, not a new fiction
Do not invent years in business, a fleet count, or a safety score. A new company can say 'new authority' in plain words. Brokers already know. Pretending otherwise is how a site gets closed as fast as it was opened.
Photos of the actual truck beat a stock highway. If the truck is not lettered yet, say so and publish the phone. Lettering can match the domain later.
Email before the first packet
Open dispatch@ and safety@ before you send the first packet, not after a shipper asks why the PDF and the inbox disagree. Billing@ can wait a week. The domain should not.
Starter at $274 is the package most new authorities buy. Growth is for a company that already has equipment photos, a lane list, and a second truck to show. Year-1 hosting is included either way.
Starter ($274) fits a new authority or a one-truck company that needs five credible pages, a phone, and a form. Growth ($597) fits a fleet that needs equipment, lanes, a proof section, and a faster launch.
The package
Starter is $274, Growth is $597, and Authority is $1,197. Each price is one time. Year-1 hosting is included, then hosting is $150 a year. Company email on your domain is part of a transportation launch. A mailbox-provider seat fee and a registrar's domain fee are quoted before they start. The breakdown is on what a trucking website costs.

Questions
- Can the website make my authority active?
- No. Authority, insurance filings, and Motus registration are yours to complete on the official systems. The site is the public face after that.
- Should I wait until the MC is active?
- You can prepare the site while you wait. Do not publish an MC number you do not have. We would rather launch the day the number is real.
- Do brokers require a website?
- FMCSA does not. Many brokers still ask for one on the packet, because they want a place to check the phone and the equipment.
- What if I am leased on, not under my own authority?
- Say that. A leased owner-operator's site is a different page from a new motor carrier. Use the owner-operator page if that is you.
